About Us
W.G. Johnson & Son was founded in 1957 by William Glenn Johnson Sr. and William Glenn Johnson Jr., as a mowing company. In the 1960’s, the company began expanding to demolition and excavation services. Today, W.G. Johnson & Son is still family owned and operated by the third generation of the Johnson family.
As a Florida Certified Excavation and Underground Utilities Contractor, we offer all facets of site development. W.G. Johnson & Son has an unmatched reputation helping to build the most recognizable projects in Alachua County over the past 50 years.
